Cascading Petals centers around high school bullying, and the far reaching effects. It also explores the pressures of school status, and teen relationships. With so many important issues, I really wanted to love this book, but I struggled with it. The changing POV left all the characters lacking in development. Too often I felt the narrative was from the perspective of an adult woman reflecting on her past experiences, not an actual teenager.
